About
Alyce Soulodre | The Critter Sitter
I provide professional, dedicated, thorough, and thoughtful pet care for a wide range of furry and scaly friends. I am trained in first aid for dogs and cats, hold insurance for my business, and am committed to ongoing training and development to provide the best possible care. I have personal experience owning cats for over seven years, and fancy rats for six years - any and all species are welcome! I work within the Kingston area, as far west as Odessa, east as Gananoque, and north as Inverary.
On walks, I ensure that your dog is safe and cared for, and receives plenty of exercise and enrichment. I am happy to go for long walks or visits to the dog park, and will work with reactive or nervous dogs to make sure that they are supported.
For drop-in visits and housesitting, I ensure that I follow any instructions or special care requirements for your pets, and make sure that they get lots of attention and love. I keep pet areas such as litter boxes or small animals habitats neat and clean, and ensure that your home is in tip-top shape for your return. I make sure to send detailed updates about your pets (including photos!), so that you can rest assured that your beloved companions are in good hands.
I have experience with all kinds of reactive, senior, anxious, and shy animals, as well as pets who require medication or extra special care. I have completed several courses and certifications in pet care and welfare, and am committed to ongoing education to ensure that I can provide the best quality care for your animal(s). I am able to administer medication and work with animals who are finicky or need extra care such as a special diet. I love to meet pets where they're at - I work with high energy, playful animals and more low-key, shy companions. Everypawdy gets the love and play they need on their terms.
I'm happy to accommodate any special needs or requests for your beloved animal companions. Let's chat about how I can best serve you and your pets' needs!
